Monte Koch
Monte Koch is an accomplished private investor and strategic advisor who brings more than 30 years of investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and board leadership experience across the real estate, hospitality, aviation and technology sectors to the Gogo Board, where he is a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and the Audit Committee.
Mr. Koch has served as a director of Choice Hotels International, Inc. since 2014. He co-founded Ten-X.com, an online marketplace for residential and commercial real estate, and served as director from 2008 to 2017. From 2016 to 2020, Mr. Koch was a partner of merchant bank BDT & MSD Partners (f/k/a BDT & Company). Earlier, he worked at Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., where he served as Global Head of Real Estate Investment Banking and Chairman of Mergers & Acquisitions for the Americas from 1999 to 2007. He served on the board of the National Business Aviation Association from 2005 to 2023 and continues as Chair Emeritus.
Mr. Koch holds a BBA from The College of William & Mary. He is a member of the Audit Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
